# Customer Groups

Global-e exposes [session custom attributes](/session-attributes-sfcc) that work in Dynamic Customer Group membership rules. Use them in content slots, promotions, and other BM targeting.

For example, to restrict promotions to Global-e international customers, define Dynamic Customer Group rules in Business Manager on **`session.custom.geIsOperated`** (and optionally `geCountry`, `geCurrency`, `gePriceStrategy`). Demo groups ship in **`metadata/demo/demo.customergroup.xml`** (`GlobaleCustomers`, `NonGlobaleCustomers`).

Combine attributes such as `geIsOperated`, `geCountry`, `geCurrency`, and `gePriceStrategy` with **AND** / **OR** conditions.

  These `session.custom.ge*` attributes are populated by the `globale.onInit` handler in `int_globale_sfra` / `int_globale_sitegenesis`. On popups-only or headless-only sites they are not set out of the box — see [Session attributes](/session-attributes-sfcc) for scope.
