Global‑e provides support across a wide array of vendor platforms pre-built extensions as well as API-based integration capabilities to allow our services to be used for all brands.
This integration covers all localisation aspects during customer browsing and checkout using merchant-specific configurations, including currency exchange rates, country coefficients, and rounding rules. The list of serviced countries benefits automatically from Global-e capabilities through a unique integration.
Domestic users continue to interact with the original merchant’s site, as do customers from countries that are not operated by Global‑e.
On top of pricing and checkout management, the Global‑e integration also provides UX functionalities, such as displaying the Global‑e Country Switcher when the user wishes to change the shipping destination country and/or the currency used for browsing and interacting with the webstore.
