Global‑e Solution - Logistics and Operational Models
Logistics and Operational Models Global‑e offers the following operation models.
Global‑e hub Model
The merchant ships all orders to the nearest Global-e hub daily, in a consolidated shipment (usually overnight). At the hub, all shipments are scanned, relabelled, and printed on the carrier's label, and the relevant export documents are attached to the package.
The shipment leaves the Global-e hub the same day.
The shipper collects the orders from the merchant Hub the orders and ships directly to the shopper (only relevant to DHL as shipper)
Merchant hub Model
The preparation and shipment is performed from the merchant's site. After the merchant performs the regular pick and pack process, the merchant's personnel uses the Global-e system to print the final shipping labels and documents and applies them at the merchant's warehouse. Global-e arranges for collection of these shipments directly from the merchant's warehouse.

Hybrid Model
This model involves a combination of both , the merchant and the Global-e hub. The merchant can ship directly part of the packages (for example via DHL express) and forward the rest to the nearest Global-e hub for processing.
When shipped from the merchant hub, DHL usually picks up the orders.
For standard shippers, orders are shipped to the Global‑e Hub (this includes China and Russia).
